ISORUNCLUB TRAIL DEPT™ X GOOZ

ISORUNCLUB is leading the charge with virtual worldwide running races. Our next race, ISORACE III, is on the 24th April 2021 [entry is open], and entry is open for The North Face VECTIV™ Knockout until Feb1st.

Trail running isn't about rhythm. It's about left foot, right foot, duck, dive and dodge. Hop rocks and jump streams, run uphill to run downhill.

Jack took our trail ideas to the drawing board and created some outline folks who like to run up things. Hope you like.

Store closes 25th February, 2021.

Prize structure for the VERT+ Knockout.

We're awarding prizes to those who stand out in the VERT+ Knockout. Every week, the runner in 1st place on the Strava leaderboard wins a pair of The North Face VECTIV shoes. If you make it to the top ten, there's shoes for you too.

If you make it onto the podium, we've got a bundle from The North Face plus huge vouchers to spend at The North Face.

Not to mention kudos like you wouldn't believe. Let's go!

The leaderboard is accumulative.

That means that every week, your elevation is added to your running total. The bottom ten on our accumulative leaderboard are eliminated each week.

We award a weekly winner.

Whoever is at the top of the Strava leaderboard at the end of each week, wins a pair of The North Face VECTIV™ Carbon Trail shoes.

Runners must be faster than 12 Min/Mile.

If a runners' average pace is slower than 12 minutes per mile, they'll be warned. If it happens again, they are fined 10,000ft from their total. A third time, means elimination. In the last 3 weeks, this is zero tolerance. No warning, no fine, instant elimination.

Weekly rundown.

We want to hear about your time on the trails. Get in touch with us on email or whatsapp, and send your photos and stories in for us to review.

Weekly winners are limited

The weekly shoes winner cannot win shoes again for three weeks after winning. We will configure a different prize in the case of consecutive wins.

In the final week, the leaderboard is cleared.

We enter the final week with a clean slate. It's up to the final ten runners to give it their all in week ten, and go for a podium.

What is the VERT+ Knockout?

It's a knockout elevation leaderboard. 100 runners are entered into the leaderboard, and every week, the ten runners at the bottom of the leaderboard, are eliminated.

How does it work?

To qualify, you need to have run:

1500ft+ / 400m+ in 2021

or

25000ft+ / 7500m+ in 2020.

Competitors who made the cut were invited to join the competitor-only Strava club, where the leaderboard is tracked.

The leaderboard is updated weekly on our website.

When does it happen?

Entry opens on the 26th January 2021, and competition begins when the one-hundred entry spots are filled.

The leaderboard will open at the start of February, and runs for ten weeks.

This is about running steep.

We heard you calling, and so we've answered. Trail runners, prepare yourself for a seriously uphill ten weeks.

Virtual racing, on the trails.

The most awkward obstacle in virtual racing: elevation. So instead of being limited by elevation change, we're using it as our primary metric.

Weekly winners.

Every week, the athlete in 1st position on the Strava leaderboard, wins a pair new shoes.

#RunForCarbon

The 'Ten' rule.

'Survival of the fittest', style. The lowest 10 runners are eliminated every week.
