Terms & Conditions

Definitions;

‘Event’ - The North Face VECTIV™ Knockout organised by ISORUNCLUB Limited.

‘Organisers’ - ISORUNCLUB Limited

‘Sponsor’ - VF Northern Europe Ltd. t/a The North Face

‘Rules’ - The rules and laws of events organised by ISORUNCLUB Limited. 

‘Participation’ - Your involvement, included but not limited to competing and running in this event.

1. ENTRY
   

1.1 By filling out the entry form for The North Face VECTIV™ Knockout you are agreeing to enter into and partake in the Event, participate in the event until its completion, abide by the rules and any instruction given to you by the Organisers, and abide by current Government guidelines regarding COVID-19.

1.2 By filling out the entry form for The North Face VECTIV™ Knockout you are making the submitted information public and available for the Organisers to share publicly, and acknowledging that Event entry is at the discretion of the Organisers. 

1.3 Entry is limited to members of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland.

2. SAFETY

2.1 Your Participation in the The North Face VECTIV™ Knockout is subject to the following of the Organisers rules and advice, as well as current government guidelines regarding COVID-19. 

2.2 Your Participation in the The North Face VECTIV™ Knockout is subject to your understanding of the risks involved in running and virtual running. By entering you are waiving any right to seek legal claim in the event of your loss, injury or death. 

2.3 Entering into this event is done so AT YOUR OWN RISK. This is a virtual event, meaning you are ON YOUR OWN, the Organisers have no race officials, or any means of controlling the environment in which you choose to compete. You must run within your limits.

3. EVENT REMOVAL

3.1 The Organisers have the right to remove you from The North Face VECTIV™ Knockout at their discretion, at any time and without prior notice. 

3.2 If your weekly average pace (minutes per mile) is over 12 Minutes / Mile, you will be warned. If it happens a second time, you will be fined 10,000ft. If it happens a third time, you'll be eliminated. You are not eligible for prizes if your pace is over 12 Minutes per Mile. You will be eliminated without warning if your pace is over 12 Minutes / Mile in the final three weeks.

4. PRIVACY POLICY

4.1 By entering The North Face VECTIV™ Knockout you are agreeing for us to share your name, Strava username, ranking, and statistics about your running such as weekly elevation, on www.isorunclub.com and www.instagram.com/isorunclub. 

4.2 You must remain subscribed to our mailing list to remain in competition.

5. USE OF IMAGE

5.1 Any recorded content included but not limited to still photography, video and audio recordings shared by you relating to The North Face VECTIV™ Knockout are useable by the Organisers or Sponsor in any way they deem fit. This includes but is not limited to news broadcast, film, radio, TV, publications, website, social media.

6. LIABILITY

6.1 In no event shall the Organisers or Sponsor be liable to you whether for breach of contract, any tortious act or omission (including negligence) or otherwise, under or in connection with this agreement for any:

6.1.1 loss or damage;

6.1.2 loss of profit;

6.1.3 loss of reputation;

6.1.4 loss of business, revenue or goodwill;

6.1.5 loss of anticipated savings;

6.1.6 pledges made on your behalf or by you to charity; or

6.1.7 consequential or indirect loss, regardless of whether the loss or damage:(a) would arise in the ordinary course of events;(b) is reasonably foreseeable; or (c) is in the contemplation of the parties, or otherwise.

6.2 You agree to partake in a virtual event, which by nature is uncontrolled and unsupervised. You agree that actions happening while competing resulting in loss, injury or death ARE NOT a responsibility of the Organisers or Sponsor.

7. PRIZES

7.1 Prizes awarded to Participants of The North Face VECTIV™ Knockout at the discretion of the Organiser and Sponsor. Prizes are subject to availability, may not be exchanged for a cash value, are not transferable, and can be withdrawn by the Organisers or Sponsor.

7.2 Weekly winners cannot win Prizes again within three weeks. For example, if Helen is the weekly winner four weeks in a row, she will only be awarded a prize in the first week.

8. ELIMINATION

8.1 This is an ‘elimination’ style tournament, meaning that the lowest ten runners at 23:59 every Sunday, are eliminated. There is no possibility of re-instatement. You may also be eliminated by the Organisers if they discover evidence of foul play or cheating.
